Ilitha Educare Preschool

ABOUT

Headmistress Christina Jita established Ilitha Educare Preschool when she realized that children were unprepared to attend primary school as most families are uneducated or lack financial resources to help.  Because of Christina’s vision and passion to support readiness for preschool children, her students will have a greater chance of success when they begin primary school.   However, because most families do not have the finances to send their little ones to school, several Cape Town Rotary Clubs and Pathways-Africa are continuing to support the school and children with educational supplies, reading materials, toys, and monetary donations to ensure that the school continues to serve these needy children.
